The Passage of Time
shyt is great I saw the episodes on the demand. I know Oliver is a conspiracy theorist, but Just like with anyone History, it's told with a slant. But he hip me to so many facets of the lesser knowns and how fukked politics really is. I never knew about how the shytted on vice-president Wallace.

Can I get an example of what is the basis of the show?

The show covers US foreign policy beginning with WW2. The premise is to provide an alternative recounting US history most Amercans are unaware. For example, they explore the role that Russia played in defeating the Nazis. They also explore dissenting voices within the US government that have been historically ignored by the mainstream media. It's a good watch if for no other reason to consider a different take on US foreign policy as told by the establishment.

I elected to take a WW2 history class my junior yr. Probably one of the best decisions I ever made in life.

I had to read and write an end of the year report on a book and a choose one on the siege of leningrad. (I'm not home right now so I can't give the author/correct title)

But my God the Russians sacrificed so much. Like the way we look at D-Day and how horrific it was, was like every damn day on the eastern front.

The numbers really don't tell the proper story

just watched episode 9, i downloaded them, i dont have cable. he did some insinuating, brought up cheneys NEPDG...overall too relenting for being ''untold'', and not well researched in that respect. i'm still gonna watch #10 and see his take on obama and hopefully something on the bush/obama transition.
