I fukk with Future heavy, like a lot now. But let's be clear. Rap is at an all time low. Quality wise. Authenticity doesn't matter. And when you make music that is disposable and easily emulated, this is what happens.

Nah, Future has hits and misses because he has a personal style and theme that he expresses. That's him as an artist trying to create something special. What Desiigner did was take what people liked about Futures sound and repackaged it into an easily disgestible song. It's very pop.

I don't hear that. It's just a great song. Because this shyt was boomin around Brooklyn before it was a pop record. That song is some gutter, hood shyt. It was on the streets before it was on the radio. That "bdddddawwwwwww" is some Brooklyn shyt that hood nikkas have been doing. Nothing pop about that record, it's just catchy.

Also, the flow on the second verse was marvelous. I've never heard Future rap that fast with that much tempo control or flow
