I fukk with Future heavy, like a lot now. But let's be clear. Rap is at an all time low. Quality wise. Authenticity doesn't matter. And when you make music that is disposable and easily emulated, this is what happens.

Y'all gotta stop pretending that this shyt floating around is quality in the first place. Which is why I ain't mad at designer would blatantly biting :heh:

We breaking all the rules anyway. Ghostwriting is okay. getting pissed on and still talking tough is okay. Making the same songs over and over is okay. 50 nikkas rapping over the same DJ Mustard beat is okay. We getting so far away from the culture that I can't even be mad at this. Because y'all (not saying you, but rap as a community) cosign everything else. Let this shyt slide too :yeshrug:

This is what happens when there are no standards. No lines. No principles. shyt was all good before and now the mess nikkas have made of Hip Hop is catching up to new rappers and y'all wanna :mjcry: :mjcry: :mjcry:

It's fitting that he has a more successful song than Future has ever had (more successful, not better because he has better songs than Panda) but it's fitting because y'all keep cosigning fukk shyt. Y'all made it okay so that these nikkas ain't gotta rap. Y'all made it so these nikkas ain't gotta write. Y'all made it so that these nikkas can be lazy and have ZERO concepts and make the same songs over and over. :sas1:

Don't cry foul now. This is what happens and it's only going to get worse. Granted, designer would have been laughed out of hip hop for some biting shyt like this. Especially at the pinnacle of someone's career. But Drake would have also been laughed out of Hip Hop for ghostwriting and so on and so forth. So if y'all don't want any regulations. Y'all don't wanna any codes. Y'all want this chaos? Take it :umad: with the good and the bad.

fukk it. :lolbron:

Y'all call nikkas :flabbynsick: when they talk about codes and principles and how there's a way things need to be done, right? So by that same rule of thumb stop being :flabbynsick: and complaining about biting. :umad:

Ain't no more rules and codes in this shyt. As long as it bangs in the whip who cares right? :mjlol:

And Panda most definitely, MOST DEFINITELY bangs in the whip :banderas:

convince yourself to be satisfied with mediocrity, brehs

It's one thing when this kind of talentless lowest common denominator shyt is made for and consumed by the masses, because that happens all the time with every form of entertainment, but it's another when every up and comer sees this blatant fukkery accepted and enjoyed, because now as it is that's all these new jacks wanna do is emulate the current popping style -- which as you should know -- is curated by some whiteys in a board room watching presentations on YouTube's most recent trends.

This shyt is ridiculous. I want actual substance to my music, wordplay; bars that took time to assemble and had to be occasionally rewritten to fit into the rhyme scheme, basically I want shyt that takes time and effort to create and that actually means something and resonates with me as a listener... And I'm not afraid of digging into the 'crates' to find the good shyt, but my issues lies in the fact that it seems like all dudes wanna make is the next radio single, not a piece that's actually worth anything.

panda isn't even for "rap fans", it's pop rap. It's for people who want the cool new sound. If rap is an artform, panda is the kind of surface level art made intentionally for the consumer.

the fact that my 13 year old thinks that "panda" is the hottest shyt out tells me all I need to know.
