I have been on this planet for 32 years and I can only recall a handful of times where I slept over 8 hours. I have had insomnia for my whole life.
For those with no sleep issues how does it feel?

I can but I typically don’t. Usually a 6 hour guy. 8 hours is optimal though. But my sleep cycle being off effects me more than the extra hour or two. My shyt off like a big dog right now and it’s been like that for over a month. I gotta force myself to get it back on track. I’m meant to be sleep at night and up during the day. I ain’t one of y’all nocturnal ass nikkas

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Turning 39 on Cinco Day Mayo weekend.

I have been averaging 8 hours of sleep= for the past two decades and ensure I consume plenty of high quality h20 hourly.

And look 25 because of it.

Now i'm not rich... but i'm happy and youthful.

Won't trade that in for the entire Earf.

The only time my sleep was disrupted for an extended period of time was due to struggling with a relationship with a woman I loved more than during 2020... i was getting 4-5 hours a night for 4 months straight and by the end of fall, i looked like a fukkin' zombie (while that may be okay with you, imagine having restful, consistent 8 hours for years and getting hit like that abruptly... it takes a gawt damn toll on your health, psyche and aesthetics.

Never again.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure I got sleep apnea so i usually wake up feeling fukking tired.

This past year I've been getting 7 hours and can manage fine.

I was just diagnosed with this last year after doing a sleep study. I would sleep for 6-7 hrs and still feel tired as hell throughout the day. Low energy...took too long to “wake up”. I Took a sleep test, found out I stop breathing ~10x/hour

I thought it was a fat people thing honestly. I’m 5’2” 135 ( my normal weight) . No snoring , unless I’m sick.
