Anyone else ever turn off car w/out putting in park?

Just my first, and hopefully last time ever. I was like uh oh, then turned it back on, drove a tiny bit, then put it in park-THEN turned off. Seems okay

Yeah, it's not a problem for the car, mechanically speaking. You just need to shift it back into park before starting it or else it won't start.

yea had to do that when I thought my brakes weren't working. One of the Scariest day of my life

You can't take the key out when it's in drive anyway unless the car is old as hell. All you had to do was shift into park

But yea I do the it here and there hoppin out the whip like the dikks or some shyt. I be on the move

All the time. shyt doesn't go anywhere if you keep your foot on the break. Sometimes I just leave it in reverse then put something on and over the break peddle so I don't have to worry about putting it in reverse the next time I leave.
