Got all my gifts ordered/shipped.
'bout to hop off this tolerance break and cop some Sensi from the Bongos up in the hill as per our agreement.
Turn off my phone and kick back and take it easy until New Year's 'cause I can honestly say I worked/spent quite a bit for folk since this was a good year this year.
Only messed up thing about this X-mas is that this is going to be the first of many where my family is gonna be factioned off, 'cause folk done fell out with each other on some "to the grave" shyt.

I'm glad me and all my cousins still tight, but it ain't gonna be the same not having everyone congregate from house to house, talking shyt and exchanging gifts this year.​

I get what you're saying. I love Christmas but xmas shyt for a whole month is like eating pizza every day for a whole month. It's better to go hard on Xmas spirit in the two weeks leading up to the holiday. If anything we need more holidays in this country so we don't go so hard for the only one that seems to matter anymore. Thanksgiving is treated like a dress rehearsal for Christmas now.

We should combine Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & New Years Eve/Day into one long week long holiday. Hmm...

Christmas is what you make of it. Personally I wouldn't let others and how they roll spoil something for me. Life gets easier and more fun when you shift focus to what you can personally control. Corny but true.
