Anyone else find 99% of Rap is predictable these days?

Really though its just that right now alot of bland stuff has come out. Hip Hop's B and C listers all decided 2013 was the year for some reason.

Last year there were definitely some refreshing projects.

I think theres still creativity in most aspects of hip hop. Only real problem IMO is subject matter.

Lyricism, flow, production, all that has evolved, but rappers are still saying the same shyt.

Drake harmonizes better than Ja Rule so it works out better for him.

Drake ain't done nothing new in the rap game and i'm 27yrs old.

to name few.. they don't sound alike. Each one of them bring something different to the table.

Rap now is predictable than it was in the late 90s/early 2000. where everybody was either playing a super thug/playa character or conscious anti-mainstream backpacker.
