I used to be the dude that was at comic shops, Best Buy, and garage sales every other weekend. I used to always clean up on little collectibles to put on display and shyt. Even my bluray/DVD collection was getting pretty ridiculous.

I've sold a lot of things over the past couple of years, stopped obsessing over picking up latest shyt coming out, web exclusives, and everything targeted at desperate ass collectors. It was never about money, cuz I never went beyond a budget I set aside for myself. It's just that life doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Probably just grew up and out of that mindset, but finishing anime boxsets or getting that Transformers exclusive don't stress me anymore :manny:

I had a crazy game collection, but I honestly stopped caring and realized I was never going to go back and play any of them and I may as well get some money for them.

I want to get back into some nerdery collecting though just to deck out a room in my new house

My thirst got bad when I was online buying up a SNES, Genesis, and N64 for a retro gaming set up. I got this 32" tube tv for $20 at a garage sale and had mad dreams.

When it gets a hold of you :snoop:

it depends on the item and brand. I remember collecting baseball cards when younger and my dad did also. got a box up in my closet full of them. none from the past ten years or so. I was into the pokemon card craze with my brother and friends when that was hot. now only thing I really collect is to add to my dvd collection. but that's only bond and the Simpson's. practically grew up on the Simpson's and even got the episode guide they released recently. and bond, well his movies are legendary even if some are over thirty years old. do need to see the latest one tho. maybe soon I'll watch it. can't afford to collect sneakers or any other expensive collection.

Only thing I collected are certain bluray boxsets and comics. I'm not a completionist though and I'm certainly not the type of guy who needs shyt the day it drops.

When it comes to videogames I been on emulators for a minute. I got every Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, Gameboy Advanced, , Game gear, and a bunch of arcade games on one fukking flash drive. If I ever feel the need to take a trip down memory lane I got some throwback controllers for my laptop and
