anyone else hates talking on the phone?

I'm actually the complete opposite.
I hate the fact that all people can do now is text.
It's makes room for so many misinterpretations, so many broken convo's ( ppl are HORRIBLE at texting back), and it can actually be a waste of time.
I was just trying to get directions and organize a small day trip with a friend last week and we are texting back and forth for almost an hour like every fifteen minutes, because I had a lot of questions about where we were going and what we were doing.
we could have hashed everything out with a short convo for less than 5 minutes.

I can have a 3 hour phone convo with my best friend or with a guy I'm seeing or 1 of my cousins. If the conversation is good or funny, no I don't get tired of it. I'm over 30, that has always been my primary form of communication. Or face to face. Text is for quick convenient stuff

. And yet I still can't change even if know the damage it has done. I need some help
