Throw in a booming business on the sponsorship and digital media front, and well, it’s maybe never been rosier.

I know people here prefer conjecture over facts, but baseball is doing fine.

I agree. Went to an Orioles playoff game a few years ago and it was genuinely a great time. And I generally could gaf about baseball.
