You list the areas you want to see an improvement in; like body, finance, career, women, setting up your business, etc and then come up with a strategy on how to achieve that within a certain period such as 3 or 4 years. You can even them break it down further such as month or even days.

I've been doing this shyt for two years now and its very good. Of course the hardest bit is actually doing it but it gives you that focus you need when you actually have an idea what you want from life and getting it.

3-4 month self-improvement plans.
If I plan something out over the course of years, I'm gonna lose sight of it and never accomplish it.

I think it's better to plan it for years and then break it down in months, weeks or even days on how to accomplish it.

That doesn't work (for me) at all.

More than 4 months out, I'm just gonna give up. I'm shortsighted like that.

The overall goal is to be ultimately improved over years, I'll agree with that. But shorter milestones make the journey seem less like an insurmountable goal.

By 5 years from now I am looking to learn a decent amount of Mandarin Chinese and pick up 2 additional skills so I can expatriate with my Woman abroad and lead a better life. Singapore is the 1st destination choice with Hong Kong being 2nd and Taiwan 3rd. All former "Asian Tiger" economies that have not dipped much in the past 20 years.

I make a fairly decent salary here but I can't stand this country. Black Men are targeted and shytted on daily. I have tried to mentor brothers on expanding their horizons but they not hearing me.

So I have to lead by example and show them with action that a better life exists outside of America with proper preparation and planning. I've worked abroad in Europe and Latin America for 6 months each before so I know what to expect in terms of acculturation and any "surprise" costs etc that may come up.

Need to save up about 20k, get a gig that pays around $100k USD and my Woman will use some of her 401k to purchase property in a central location and get that investor K-1 Visa. She is putting the money down because I will be earning significantly more (in terms of regular stable wages) than her in the country we will go to. (This is true gender equality not that bullshyt American females sell to you :mjpls:, of course this doesn't need to be really said, but she is not American.)

With that we should be able to get setup without too much trouble. $100k will be more than enough to live a good life there, save money and we'll be able to travel within S.E. Asia for fun very cheaply.

Eventually I want to setup my own shop there as the costs of doing business are extremely low. Then will probably help some other family members expatriate as well if they want. Would rather have family working for my business if possible.
