Yep, Im currently a paramedic, the job is interesting, im able to assist and help people, the money and benefits are good, i love the work schedule, the training, time flies, and in about a month I will be a firefighter, which is my dream job

I'm not in IT or in 6 figures, but I like my job. I don't "love" a job since I'd rather not have to work than to work. but I don't mind doing my job at all.
hell sometimes going to work is easier than the weekend cuz there's so much shyt going on between kids, family, chores, and errands.

Never thought about that, regarding message board patrons having a higher level of intellect in lieu of their non-forum-participating counterparts... but it sounds pretty damn accurate. I know a lot of college educated people who make 3-4 times more than i do but always come to the noble/humble broke guy for advice on everything in life or for trivial answers.
Not implying a gee-whiz with the sweet jizz... but all the knowledge i acquired was via message boards. On the same token like an oddman out, was able to fine tune my writing and debate effectively while carressing breeze (it's just the fresh in me).
I know people that are still in college that make more than me, i've accepted that... but i've got a peace of mind that no dollar amount in the world could erecticate.
If i had more more, more status, more time to do cool things that jet setters do... would they harness the kind of pizzazz i does?
