Yep might start looking for a new job this tailor life is difficult.
This is the ultimate fate of anyone working a job they're not passionate about. Working a job that doesn't provide a sense of passion kills creative drive and essentially makes you zombie like in almost every sector of life. Life becomes dull and you soon start regretting ever waking up in the morning. This is the predicament of almost every American unfortunately.
A life without passion is why most of us compensate with drugs, promiscuous sex, social media, porn, diehard political affiliations, etc
Anyone else mentally checked out of work?
This times 1000, all of it. And as a non-US breh in Europe I can tell you it's the same here.
I advise brehs to google articles about "bullshyt jobs", it's a real issue. There's tons of people who don't do shyt at work or that have totally checked out. That has real life consequences, including stress, depression, etc...and can go all the way to suicide, so don't take it lightly.
I am.I need some time off for sure. I want to be everywhere except work.
