Anyone else noticing an increase in road rage incidents?

I’m mostly a chill dude. You gotta really annoy me to get me upset. In result, I haven’t had many bad interactions in the past few years but I’ve had 4 road rage encounters in the past two months

Be easy. People have short fuses and are carrying weapons. Not worth it.

The rage factor has been there. What I see more are people outright breaking laws while behind the wheel. Running red lights, day or night, this is while everyone else is waiting, somehow the driver will weasel by. no plates which means no insurance and no registration. Sure there are some people driving without licenses. Pretty sure there are a lot of drunk drivers as this is New Orleans as well.

It’s a little bit of the Wild West. I literally see about 3-4 direct and obvious violations almost every day

1. Hottest year on record. - Heat makes people rage.

2. Post COVID isolation- Antisocial behavior after collective societal PTSD and reentering society. (Don't forget about how people were getting beat up for toilet paper).

3. Social Media Programmed Bias/Fear. - The never ending consumption of fukkery and demonic behavior bolsters biases and makes people respond to each other with derision and fight/flight/freeze.

Throw in an influx of 5'2" Mexicans and here we are.
