I never even saw that JFK movie with Kevin Costner, and it was huge.
I wasn't ever really interested in it.
I was always more interested in Fidel Castro's story. It's WAY more fascinating. Even if you disagree with his politics, his life story is incredible. Batista had him locked up, let him go, Castro reorganized...at one point had just a handful of men in the jungle...slowly gained the support of the people and took over the country.
It's unreal.
The JFK thing is just...I dunno...him and his brother banged the same whore. He got shot. Someone killed the shooter.
I mean, unless the government releases un-redacted documents and you find out he was killed with the support of spies, the mafia or the government itself, I don't see the big deal at this point. It's 50-years later of the same gossip.
Whatever.

I don't mind it, it was a major period in history...if we lived through it and could remember the feeling, we'd probably feel different. That's like even on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, people who didn't live through it won't have the same feeling as someone who did
