Anyone else start to slowly lose interest in a game close to launch?

this thread is hilarious....so far this gen, yall been bytching/complaining about having no games to play, but the min a new highly anticipated game gets ready to come out, all of a sudden yall dont want it, dont know if yall gonna get it, are burnt out on the hype....lol get the fukk outta here....destiny, copped day 1...driveclub, copped day 1...unity, copped day 1....gta 5, copped day 1 again....the order, batman, bloodborne, and whatever the fukk else i get hyped about, copped day 1....why? cause i enjoy actually playing games more than just talking shyt to others about them....

This thread wasn't specifically aimed at Destiny per se, it's just a feeling I tend to get towards a release of a big game. Thoughts like "Is it REALLY all that?", "It may not be as good as it appears..." start to form in my head. This happens with almost every big title for me. Usually once the game is on the verge of releasing, like a week or few days my hype starts to rise significantly. Speaking of which, i just traded in Ghosts for XB1 and got $33 which I used to buy PSN credit to put towards Destiny.

Yeah, the information about the significantly smaller campaign than was seemingly promised is what pushed me away from it. shyts disappointing, but eh. That's life.

i know it wasnt aimed at destiny, just brought it up cause that's the game getting talked about the most....as for what you said about the thoughts: that doesnt make sense....why would you try to talk yourself outta something you hyped about?....yea, sometimes shyt doesnt live up to your hype level, but that's been few and far inbetween for me.....that's just another example of people killing shyt for themselves, no one else...people do it in all forms of life and then they wonder why they not enjoying shyt...muthafukkas need to start thinking more positive....they'd be surprised how much more enjoyable life is when they do...

Happened with me and Guild Wars 2 and especially State of Decay, I use to check those pages and screenshots daily. After about a month though I lost all interest and forget all about launch dates.
