Now of course this is my opinion.
But I think GOTG has the potential to be the pinnacle of Marvel movie making, The Empire Strikes Back for a new generation. The first one was dope, but like a lot of films that are the first in a series, It's basically a set up for the second film.
Don't get me wrong, this is also why I don't judge Avengers as harsh as other people do, because technically it is the same thing.
BUT the biggest issue that I think is facing Avengers 2 is the villain. Ultron is a great villain. BUT, my fear is that it will basically turn into Part 1 Featuring Ultron.
with the Avengers doing the exact same thing they did in part 1, fighting a villain that replicates itself times 50,000x and the Avengers doing the same thing as they did with Chitauri.
Essentially a long ass fight scene of them fighting clones of Ultron until ultimately they destroy Ultron Prime and ultimately the clones as well.
Does anyone get the same feeling?
