I never heard of an Alligator attacking anybody unless it was for food or to defend their nest. No nest was found so an intact baby should've been eaten.

Then I came across this update on Facebook (it's not mine)

"I hate to suggest this yet I just can't shake the feeling that the parents of this 2 year old toddler alligator abductee may have been disposing of the child purposely. I'm not being insensitive. Their story has never added up. A kidnaping sounds more reasonable to me. It's almost like they may have considered reporting it as a kidnapping but then realized that the claim would end up involving innocent people. ‪#‎Messy‬"

THen I see this, just doesn't add up

I'm sure there is an animal specialist that could explain why the alligator disposed of the baby after drowning it. They probably don't like human meat like sharks

Why didn't the alligator(s) eat the kid though? I'm ignorant in animal behavior but I always see when a gator or crocodile catch prey on a tv show, they immediately either swallow it whole if it's small enough (paws) or do like a little twisting thing with their body to break off limbs that makes it easier to eat.

They also stash kills to let the body decompose and become easier to tear apart

Pets are always getting eaten by Gators down here.

But I agree this story is highly suspicious.

I know for a fact that all of the guests staying at the Disney Resort have to go through a strict safety program specifically designed to prevent incidents with the local wildlife.
