After watching all of those teen movies like American Pie, Not Another Teen Movie etc i feel as if i didn't get the "high school experience".

Taking the school bus to school.

You don't really get that feel in city schools.

I went to high school in the burbs. Took the bus to school. We didn't have a big campus. Our athletics sucked. My school was nothing like the movies :manny:

Went to school in the city...there were barely any good looking women...lost my virginity to a check from a different school...and didn't like anyone around me except for 2 people who I still keep in contact with.. I went to a small college, but it was 100x better.....my first 3 months there was better than my whole 4 years of high school

Those movies glamorize high school. It's the same everywhere. I went to school in the burbs, had a huge campus, very good football team, and I still didn't have the high school experience. But that's probably on me for being shyer than the other kids.

lol you wanted to go to a movie school, not a school in the suburbs.

my school was just as ghetto as the city school. and was terrible academically/athletically

I transferred from a city school to a suburban school in the middle of 11th. grade and I hated pretty much every minute of it.

No. High school is only relevant so far as marks are concerned. Kids don't attend school for athletics, clubs, to be around rich white kids, etc. They attend school to study and graduate. Then they go to college, major in something and work at a big company/become a professional.
