You're absolutely right breh, but at the same time, everybody has an agenda. Don't forget that the Surgeon General is appointed by Trump. Just a couple of days ago the Surgeon General caught flack for telling people to stop criticizing the government about how it has handled the coronavirus.
Last week he was confident that coronavirus is only contained to a few areas of the country. Regardless of how real or fake anyone feels this shyt is, anyone can see that Trump woefully mishandled it and continues to do so, and that he has surrounded himself with people who are willing to hide information and fall on their sword for him.
I think the best thing people can do is their own research, rather than ONLY relying on what the press or the White House says. The media definitely thrives on fear, but it's equally as dangerous to take the word of government officials at face value -- especially with how badly Trump's entire administration has abused power and covered his ass every single step of the way.
We got the internet now so there's no excuse for us to not do our own research and use our own critical thinking, while also having conversations and exchanging information with people who are doing the same.
