Anyone ever defeat struggle beardness or baby faceitis?

I'm 20 and my facial hair is really questionable. My girlfriend told me the other day her armpit hair grows in thicker than my facial hair I almost stole her ass right then and there.

Should I just wait a few more years or should I get an actual razor to shave over my face so it can grow in instead of using clippers without a guard.

My beard didn't even come in completely until 21-22, it was thin status at 20 too, but It always connected.
