I had a friend who did it for 18-24 months. He got to live in Hong Kong but he's white.
From what he's told me
Upsides:
- Bachelors degree + cert was all he needed
- Get to live in a foreign city - new sites, girls, food, nightlife, etc..
- Experience was a huge resume booster (grad school and professional)
Downside:
- Low pay (especially for HK, where it's expensive as fukk to live)
- Housing with strangers

I got a tefl cert everyone from my class was placed in different countries young and old surprisingly.
I highly recommend it if it's an option for you.

You can do them online for like $500 now. Can't remember but I think its only 40 hours or some shyt. Back when I did it in 2005 shyt was way harder to obtain. I convinced my ex to do it a cpl years ago and she knocked it out in like a 3-4 weeks. My homegirl from atlanta did too, she now lives in Korea. I was actually pretty surprised she went through with it. Had to give her props.

damn thats wassup...you got any direct links?....i spent some time looking around but it was so many different programs, i aint know which one was official and just kinda fell back...i checked the reviews too and some of these people was getting scammed out they money
i know the homie @Malta put me on some game like last year about this...i would love an online course, honestly that would be perfect...cuz my work schedule is about to get hectic within the next couple months

Nah I no longer talk to her. But I'm sure there's loads online, you can just google, and then google the name of the company to see if there's any complaints about fraud.

Oddly enough I think that's the one she used.
The site looks hellaaaaa familar, but the prices don't. Seems cheaper, but again, this was years ago, so maybe now that more competition is out there, they're lowering the prices. $350 is damn cheap.
