This raggedy joint today took forever to go down and open.Thought I was done for brehs.Thats why I usually take the stairs.Gotta be one of the worst feelings.

I grew up in a 12th story apt. That shyt would happen from time to time.
How long? It had me checking my phone battery today.What if you had no way to get in touch with anybody.

Yes, at least three times over the course of my life. Two in a hospital and once in a apartment building.
Also an apartment building I used to live in the elevator would sometimes halfway under run the floor and the elevator door would open...

Happened to me for like 1-2 mins few months ago, was on the phone with my brother about to go crazy until the door opened back up lol
Yes once and I have cleithrophobia, so that does not help. Once I heard about this story I never took the elevator on a Friday night ever again:

I got stuck in there once with a dude who lived down the hall from us. He was a Vietnam vet, like 6'5", smelled terrible and his breathing smelled like he was snoring. I just walked my dog and we were headed up... then it stopped. He smelled like urine and burnt garbage. My dog was looking at me like
.After a few minutes the elevator did a little bounce and we started going back up.
Sometime around when that happened a swat team was called to his apt because he had his mother held hostage and gunpoint. My family had to walk past a bunch of body armor wearing, machine gun carrying dudes to leave our place. Then next day he was still chilling at home like nothing. It's wild in retrospect.
