Had an '03 and '07 and a '98. Only thing I could say is just get ready for the intake manifold to go out, along with the back window regulators, and if you have a lead foot you gonna have some tranny seal issues. It's sadly funny how predictable those Northstar motors are. (Even had an Aururoa with the same motor, same fukking issues) Legit had the exact same problems on all 3 of my lacs, plus other little random shyt unique to each one too. Love em to death but I just couldn't do it anymore. Hopefully the new ones hold up solid and I'll snag one used in a few years.

I wouldn't mind a 2015 srt charger either tho
Yeah the northstar engines back in the day was GM trying to go the BMW Merc route with the tech and the design of the engine. The northstars just more attention than a standard GM V8I got an 02 sts that I'm just driving til I get something else.

That northstar engine runs at an high temp than most cars, that alone is going to give you many issues with water pumps, radiators, hoses, etc. Not including all the other maintenance. Cadillac dealer service center always has a line down the street.

Had to get my water pump replaced. My temp gauge stays at the halfway mark. Other cars I drive, the temp gauge never gets that high.
What goofy ass nikka does muffler/resonator deletes to a luxury car?
I had a 2003 DeVille and own a 2006 DTS. The Northstar isn't an issue after about 2001.
Only reason I drive my 540 over DTS is the DTS is a lot of car to deal with. Suspension, oil leak, pain in the ass. When the car is in good shape it's amazingly comfortable tho
