Anyone ever mentor someone?

Yeah, I mentored a lil boy for about 4 years. His father died in his sleep from an heart attack and he asked me to be his dad and I was like naw I can't do that, I'll be your big brother.

We hug out, hit the movies, bought him clothes, gave him money,play games, taught him about life, gave him some game, you know the typical big brother shyt. He was in elementary school at that time, so I had to limit myself on the game and his grandmom on his dad side was really coo with me.

The little boy had a crazy ass mom, after his father died, she turned lesbian and one time his mom's girlfriend, gave his some knock off air force 1's sneakers and I looked at them and I told him to take them off and I threw them in the trash. We ended up going to the mall and I bought him some adidas gazelle's.

Later on his mom's got out of her lesbian phaze and married some sucka ass nikka and we lost contact. Also, his grandma was having problems with her dementia and they had to put her into caregiver facility.

I really do not know how he is doing, hopefully he is doing good, I thought about him few days ago.

I did it during a summer program. This one kid took a liking to me and I helped him out. His moms tried to get at me but I shut it down. I ain't seen that little nikka in years.
