I moved from Cali to Moscow. Best decision in my life. Now I run a vodka company.

fukkin sucks.

you just described every city in the rust belt.Years ago
I moved from L.A. to Cleveland for about a month cause family lives out there and I moved back with the quickness
Even though it was cheaper, the night life is dead in that city and man 9 out of 10 sisters had kids and the city is hopeless for quality blacks
I still go out there to see fam, but the Midwest isn't me..
Now my family in New Orleans on the other hand is lit and black women in the south are on a whole another level... treated me like a king...
). Waited until my lease was up, quit my job, packed up my clothes and drove to NY. Been here ever since.Lol u sound like a thotAbout too move soon....and yes o plan on erasing my troubled past and being the person I was meant to be
Oh that's why u been ghost in the ring, lately?I moved 3 weeks ago from Richmond, Virginia to Salem, Oregon. I am quitting my job that I just started later on today. Long story short, I didn't thoroughly vet this organization. They processes are backwards, technology ancient, and I believe 1 of my co workers is racist. 2 of my co workers are my nightly supervisors, which I was just made aware today when I told my real boss that one of my co workers told me I'm on my phone too much. I literally just got off the phone with wells fargo and was approved for a $8000 loan. Going to the bank in about 10 minutes to sign the documents and get the money right now. I need cash reserves (probably won't spend the money, but I need it to hold me over until I find something else). I have never quit a job this quickly as an adult, but the conditions at the job make me feel very threatened. I get the sense that I will end up going off on someone and getting fired. It's that bad. Other than that I'm enjoying spending time with my girl here in Oregon. It's a beautiful state. Lots of racists here though, which I had no clue about.
At 23, a year after graduating college, I moved from Miami to Little Rock, Arkansas for a career opportunity that I couldn't say no to. I am not a very emotional person so I tend to take things as they come. The hardest adjustment was going from a big city to a small city. It was depressing at times but I hit the gym a lot and played soccer a lot.
A year and a half after that I moved to Atlanta via a job transfer knowing nobody and it was the best move in life. I love it here!!
How did you make new friends?
