I have as I found myself in a pretty shytty situation.

Only take them out in an emergency...a REAL emergency. Not some shyt like your car broke down and don't want to take the bus type of emergency.

Back when I was broke about 4 years ago I took one out when my financed car broke down and I had no way to fix it. I paid it back a week later on my next check and since then I've never stepped foot in one of those places.

It was a bytch living paycheck to paycheck and where else are you supposed to go when you need a few hundred dollars that day and don't have the credit to put it on a card? I wasn't gonna ask fam or friends as it was too embarrassing.
