Watching RAW, i can't help but think that Sasha made a mistake moving to the main roster. She was a big deal in NXT, and now on the main roster, she's in the Divas mix and i could care less. Full disclosure: I didnt watch the Divas matches in NXT either, but i definitely watched her matches with Bailey.

If Nakamura moves to the main roster, he's never going to main event. Just can't see it.... BUT he'll main event in NXT. Anyone ever hit Haitch with that "Thanks but no thanks"????

:mjlol: It wasn't developmental, but I remember the story that Abyss got scared of going to the WWE and practically got stage fright of being in front of a big WWE crowd, and decided to stay in TNA instead of going to the WWE, "supposedly" turned down an Undertaker program. :skip:

theres a big difference between being happy where you're at and turning down the main roster. Sure...plenty of wrestlers aren't in a hurry to leave a revolutionary product like NXT which everyone is helping to build into an even bigger brand...especially when they are the big fish in the small pond. They got the performance center, they're a tight circle, they got more control over their character and they're red hot. They pretty much got everything they need to feel comfortable...Its a good gig. But most of these wrestlers aren't marks. And the ones that are...are probably bigger marks for having a Wrestlemania moment and becoming a real superstar. 90 percent of these wrestlers aren't turning down the money and exposure so they can have better storylines. This shyt is a job...people like to advance in their jobs. You think if Vince calls Balor into his office and says "we're gonna debut you after Mania" that he would say "nah i'm good where i'm at"?

As others have already said, Finn Balor supposedly is in no rush to get called up. Most people at the Performance Center are on a teacher type salary, but some of the more established indie guys get close to 6 figures or higher. I'm pretty sure Balor is 1 of those guys making around 100k.

Taking into consideration that he's the current champ, light travel schedule, less matches, and no state tax in Florida... Finn is sitting nice right now.

Also, I think Asuka is an NXT exclusive.

Nxt is the best place for a lot of these cats though as far as having long matches and being in featured roles. With all the talent they have a few cats between the likes of Neville already happening) Owens Zayn Balor Itami AJ Nak etc. are going to get pushed to the side 2 months after they debut. If they are going to keep NXT entirely separate they should have some of these guys be the faces of that then.
