Anyone every develop a Chrome extension app? I have a couple of questions...

I have an idea that I worked on a long time ago and stepped away from. I've become motivated in wanting to revisit the idea and from what I can tell, a chrome extension is probably the best way to present it. But as Im doing some more diving into the development side of things and how I would want to present the front end UI, I don't know if a chrome extension environment will allow me to execute everything that I'm trying to do.

If anyone has experience, let me know and I provide more details. Thanks brehs.

I have no experience with this, as I am interested in Apple products, Swift, C++ etc..
