Because people live in this country. In this country, people live in "cities." In these, "cities" you are free to come and go as you please.

Portland happens to be one of these "cities" where people live. You see?

That's the one thing I've heard. Apparently the food truck scene is crazy. Unfortunately that's the only thing I know of.

Portland is the best city I've ever been to.

If you're a fan of outdoor stuff, beautiful scenery. If all you wanna do is club hop or something, then you'll be disappointed

I grew up 1.5 hours south of Portland. Can't stand the place. Most people that I know love it though. I have a bunch of friends and family who live in the area so I go down on occassion. Portland is known for hipsters, food, having the most breweries in the country, and most strip clubs per capita.

So if you're looking to get , get your on, and with some strippers you'll be good to go.

Add in the Northwest if that's your thing

Honestly after I hit submit and read what I wrote I figured that's the way most of the posters would feel. I don't know? Maybe Portland is just too small to me. Vancouver, BC > Seattle > Portland.
