Anyone from Detroit? Where do the homeless congregate?

a little bit away from mid town... @Detroitwave said cass corridor. I think that's that area... where if your traveling down mlk.... towards grandriver but away from whole foods.... Bam.. you see them bums ass old ladies and nikkas...
if so that you can sell drugs.. that area, or maybe gratiot...few blocks pass easternmarket away from downtown.
or pockets around northend (away from the nice homes)
also, for homeless ... around close hamtrack.
I think woodward near highland park, close to northend . I'm just guessing there because it's a bunch of raggedy people........ But the TRL posters would love that area, it's tranny central - the heshes are everywhere up and down woodward.
IF you just need to socialize with some homeless and crakkheads... daily and nightly .. Hollywood coney island of Gratiat near harper. They are very dedicated to their jobs in that area.

I've seen a lot when I'm downtown, especially around the venues (Masonic Temple, Fox, Ford Field, the Joe)..of course, the edge of the city/suburbs at certain intersections..some I heard take up residence in the abandoned homes. I wouldn't have any idea where they hang out at, though. But yeah, where I've seen a lot, personally, around the Venues and outskirt intersections.

The people mover entrances. There is always some bum nikka sleeping or standing right in front of it near the casinos (Greektown etc.).....Haven't been there in a year but when I was there for the holidays there was always some bum right at the entrance. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
What makes them a bum? Just the fact that they are homeless?
It's a legitimate question.
They're getting smarter. They know you got money if you coming on or getting off.
A year or two ago when I went back home I was with pops and we went to churches and it was a nikka standing right by the drive through window
pops gave him a dollar tho 
Plenty of people are going to Detroit to spark positive change. No one is scared
