Bruh, you missed like 2-3 weeks of class if that was ya 1st day.

As far as the topic, the bootleg was huuuge out in nyc already. I copped the bootleg around the end of August for $5. Was never a big Jay fan, I got the bootleg only cause I saw Em was on the album and it was never talked about beforehand, so that was a huge surprise when I saw the tracklisting

the blueprint was supposed to come out on 09/25.. it was bootlegged so hard they pushed it up 2 weeks to 9/11

There's no way I remember exactly what I read when I was in 10th grade. I just remember spending my day reading SOHH after getting out of school ealry, listening to the Blueprint, Ghetto Fabolous and 41st side compilation cds

Lost a couple of my peoples in those buildings. Could have lost 4-5 more. Can't front. Already had the bootleg, so copping the album was the last thing on my mind.

I'm not from NY, was a my school which was about 40mins away from the Flight 93 Shanksville crash and we still had classes.Internet was damn near shutdown, and we still had classes. Hell, I even had to go to my 6-9 class that evening.

I bought Killarmy - Fear, Love & War and Lake presents The 41st Side on that day.

IMO, the best produced album from 9/11/01 was...

the MCs range from Killa Sin (amazing) to Islord ( god awful) but I still hold this album has better beats overall than Blueprint (as strong as the best and has no hola hovito)
