Yeah, I played it for a bit, but stopped playing because I wanted to travel the galaxy (Elite Dangerous). Running drugs and hiding/evading the police is fun though. Sometimes I'll just be chilling waiting on shyt to pop off, and it never fails...fukkery always ensues in this game.

It's a bit of a base game, There are different game modes, Capture the flag, Some people roleplaying as drug dealers, other servers are super hardcore marine nikkas. I stay on the gta style servers due to the fukkery.

I haven't played Altis Life, but I used to play a lot of Wasteland and DayZ on Arma 2

Set the settings down a bit theres a lot of them that dont change the visuals much but cost some fps.

Altis life is a mafia simulator pretty much, You can become a meth cook, a weed dealer, a cop, you can be a paramedic, a assassin. All kinds of shyt.

in Arma multiplayer the fps is dependent on the server, and how the mod/mission was scripted. some missions just try to do too much, and performance tanks. plus the engine itself is highly dependent on single core performance. overclocking your CPU can help a lot. plus having the game on a SSD makes things a lot smoother

all that being said, Arma has pretty smooth performance, even at low framerates. it seems like it's pretty good at frame-pacing
