I'm asking Cuzz I'm taking the yellow belt class free thru work next week with two coworkers. So the price is right, so it'll look good on my resume as well.
Certs that I've noticed a lot of industrial and mechanical engineers tend to have. It's basically centered around efficiency and quantifying how often there's a screw up/waste in any process and eliminating it.What is this

My cousin who just graduated, got his greenbelt after taking a course that prepared him for it and he said it wasn't difficult when he decided to take the test.
My CEO has a risk management background and he said it was beneficial for him before he switched over from the previous industry he was in. It's a shame my career path doesn't really place an importance on obtaining lean six sigma belts because the concept of it is highly practical.
DMAIC and Lean Thinking are cornerstones to success in Engineering as well as Finance and Business
its a skill that is highly undervalued. If utilized properly in your thinking youd be surprised what you can improve not only in your job but also in the building of your assets.
Can a regular breh with a Social sciences background get into this or is this job specificity?

How much has the cert. cost you guys?
like I mentioned both classes were offered free thru my last job. I believe the green belt class would have been over $3000 if paid out of pocket.
