If you're not prepared to spend 1500-2000 then leave it alone, there's a very limited amount of time before the fire gobbles that lil safe.

I have a fireproof one from sentry...it’s about the size of a small briefcase...I use it for shyt that’s pretty much just important to me...SS card...birth certificate...passport etc...what prompted me to get one was a cuz’n of mine house caught fire...said replacing that shyt was the most inconvenient aspect out the whole ordeal

i got something similar but a little bigger and it has a keypad for the combination as well as a key...holds a good amount of important docs, some foreign currency, and petty cash for a rainy day

Go on amazon and look up fireproof document bag. They're like $20

We have a fire and waterproof box that we keep our important docs on, if you want a little more space. They're about $50

You can always fold stuff in half if you need it to fit as well
