Thinking of getting one of these next week, person reckons it will come with all snes and megadrive/genesis games and I can have all game boy, nes and master system games as well.

But I'm more thinking of the old arcade games from the early nineties, the classics.

Anyone got one?

How often do you use it?

Do the games work well?

I actually do still. Why? whats up?

Might be buying one this week, just wondering how good it is.

Mainly I would be getting it to play late righties / early nineties arcade games, wrestlefest, pang, puzzle bobble, all the old classics, I'm assuming they all work, person whose selling it told me it runs nearly all games up till the mid nineties (which is fine, cos I wouldn't know them newer games anyway), told me it comes with all snes, megadrive, pc engine, neo geo, nes, master system, gameboy games.

Does it run all (or most) your games perfectly?

Is it easy to add new games? (I see lists of them on demonoid)

Just wanna hear some pros and cons in general really, cos I've never seen or played one before, but on paper it sounds perfect for what I want.

Yea, I have all the emulators on there. For the most part, all of the consoles and roms work. There are a few Nintendo roms that will mess up. The N64 console is a mess though. Only like half the games work and alot of them are very glitchy especially with the graphics.

Overall, you'll love it. It runs smooth and even better than before.

Its not that easy to add new games on this old original xbox. Since there's no USB support, it doesnt leave us with alot of easy options. The options that I do know of are to 1.) burn data to CD-R and copy to hd 2.) FTP in thru your computer

I was lucky enough to have it come loaded with alot of utility apps and games but then i wanted more so I dove into the internet forums and figured out how to install new utilities and emulators. If possible, just give a list of everything you want loaded on it from whoever ur buying it from. It will save you alot of time and energy. Plus, they more than likely will simply just have a disc that they copy it all over for you instead of you having to go and hunt down each and every one.

I have the following emulators: Neo Geo, nes, snes, sega master system, sega genesis, sega saturn, gameboy, nintendo 64, playstion 1(doesnt work that good), turbo grfx 16, Commodore 64.

I would say all consoles work well up to Nintendo 64 where it gets iffy. However, Mario Kart64 works and so does Zelda!

Thanks for the info.

He did actually tell n64 doesn't work well, he said mArio 64 works though, I never played n64 so that doesn't bother me anyway, he never mentioned ps1 so I assume it doesn't work well.

Sounds good though, I think it will be fine for what I want it for, as long as it works I'm sure I will be happy.

How many games you got?

This one is coming with a 40gb hard drive, I'm sure thats enough?

Is it literally just plug and play, (it's soft modded), I had a modded ps1 and I had to swap discs and stuff, is this the same?

If this one works real well, I might look into sorting that one out next.

This one I'm getting is quite cheap, so I think I'll get this one for now.

Yea, 40gig is plenty. lol

I also have my Wii soft modded with all the emulators on it. Its much easier to add roms to it and take em off but you'll probably have to do the Soft mod yourself. Its pretty easy with a tutorial if you've got some basic computer knowledge.

When you ask how many games? You mean xbox games? or emulator games/roms?
