Thats not always the case tho...Roxxane Roxxane, Dwyck and Ice Ice Baby were B side songs and not the single push.

Then u got Kanyes Good Friday roll out.....Mixtapes are somewhat throwaways as well.

Half of these playlists, mixtapes, and EPs are throw aways. That's why I appreciate rappers who put alot into their albums like have a concept or theme, and full fleshed out songs

Some of these “throwaways” that come out just before or after the album they are intended for usually end up being better than a lot of the album due to sample clearance ect.

These are the ones I have no problem swapping out with a track on the album that I think is particularly trash, as long as it fits in with the rest of the album of course.
