Yep and no I don't feel like a failure, just the opposite actually because the hard part is just sticking with it and actually finishing to get a degree in the first place.

Anyway I was going to try to go to law school with my degree. Ended up bombing on the LSAT because I was working full time and didn't devote myself to studying hard enough. Still at the same job and feel like I was only trying to be a lawyer for the money and prestige, I don't think I would have liked or made it they law school cuz I don't like to read or write like that.

Since then I've come to firmly believe that as a blk person in Amerikkka, if you're smart enough to get a degree then you're probably smart enough to own your own business and should at least pursue that route.

I've been thinking about HR but I want to focus more on helping people vs helping businesses. I want to mix a little bit of psych with a little bit of business.

Idk wtf I wanna do :sadcam:

Nah, I was a business major but I'm in law school now even though I'm prolly not gonna be a lawyer. Gonna go back in to the business field and maybe go in to Management or PR, the funny thing is that I'm not doing too badly but what law school has taught me more than anything is that being a lawyer sucks :camby:

well the bold is a given! anyone can tell you that. i'm actually going to do the same thing, majoring in business. did you have a minor? i heard that philosophy is like the special sauce that law schools are looking for.

Mannnn fukk all you anti degree nikkas! Everyone I know doesn't have a degree and they are all struggling. A degree wont make you rich but you will have way more opportunities to live a comfortable middle class life than those who dont have a degree.

I have a degree in Engineering and hopefully I wont be using it at all a year from now. Im getting into the art/media/entertainment industry. Well technically in it, I got my foot in the door through photography but it has opened up so many opporutnities to make money. I don't regret the Engineering Degree one bit, it gave me the work ethic to hustle and the ability to solve problems and look at things objectively.
