Anyone have any good ideas for Christmas gifts for parents in the 60 to 80 year old range?

I was going to buy my mother a heated toilet seat, but I'm not even sure how that works, and of course if I'm going to go through with buying it, I want something of quality.

Drop your links or suggestions please.

Viagra for a woman?
My father passed away earlier this year, but I have heard of some women taking Viagra or similar things. I think he was referring to "blue chew". Anyway, my mother wouldn't be the target demographic for that.

I think that the ring camera and the tablet are good ideas.

A spa weekend, or something she could do with friends, vouchers for a social activity kind of thing. She’s used to doing things with her husband so maybe she needs a lil encouragement to go out and do things with friends.

They say that when you're a kid, the best gifts tend to be items. Toys, clothes, whatever.

When you're older, people tend to say that the best gifts are experiences.

So maybe the way to go is to give them tickets to a show -- concert or comedy. If you have the money for it, maybe a vacation?
Maybe a gift card to a very nice restaurant.

The only thing I'd probably shy away from is technology. Because those gifts end up being work for you. You get your mom a Kindle and suddenly she's calling you every 3 weeks to remember how to download a new book. It becomes a hassle more than anything.
