By homemade, I mean opening the jar, and putting it on the crust, and adding the cheese, and putting it in the oven. I don’t mean making the sauce myself.
So my girl got me a pizza making class for my birthday. For Neapolitan style it’s
2 cans San Marzano tomatoes
1 tspn salt
1 tspn EVOO
Supposed to hand crush the tomatoes then mix all together and it will cook on the crust itself while baking the whole thing. They were firm about hand crushed San Marzano specifically and no other seasoning.
EDIT Clearly I didn’t read the OP lol. I’ve used the Raos pizza sauce which was good. But this recipe is pretty easy.
You don't have to cook your sauce, so you can just buy good quality San Marzano Tomatoes in a can. I just add some salt, olive oil, and it might already have basil in it. You just need to crush it down, and it's pretty much ready to go.
Get a can of organic crushed tomatoes.
Sautee some onions with some garlic and add some basil.
Add a little sugar, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning, butter.
Heat that up 15-20 minutes.
30 minutes and you can have sauce for multiple pizzas.
