I'm interested in buying an external battery case for iPhone or a juicepack powerststion whichcan be charged using a usb lightning cable.

The battery case is far more practical as no cables are necessary and its being protected with the case, but the iPhone 6 is coming out in a new design which won't fit the case.

The powerstation can be used with any smartphone since its just a bluetooth connection, though not as practical as you got a cable hanging from it to charge.

Anyway how long have you had yours? Reliable? How much % charged do you get out of it?

I'd check out Anker's products. I have an external battery, connects to my phone via mini USB when I'm away from electricity for a while... Great product, charges my phone 4-5 times fully. It's a great product.

There products are definitely much cheaper, and look to be great deals. But i think I'm gonna end up with a case charger from Mophie as I find it much more practical to carry around, rather then having to always remember your charging cable plus external battery all in your pocket etc.

The case is definitely more practical for most. For me personally, the only time I'm really in need of the external battery is when I'm flying, on a bus or driving somewhere for an extended period of time, in each of these instances I'll have a backpack with all my shyt in it including the battery.
