Going down there for Labor Day Weekend to see an old friend. I've never been there before, is there anything to do there? Should I get a hotel room downtown, or is another part of the city poppin'? Any help is appreciated...

I got people down there and when I visit there ain't shyt to do down there but "people watch." Area is bass ackwards, race-wise. Some areas, you'd think it was still the 50s.

My city. It ain't popping like Charlotte tho Breh, but if you know the right people youll find the spots. Don't listen to these nikkas. It ain't as racist as the they make it out to be. If anything White people keep that their opinion to themselves.

Lot of Hispanics girls (mostly Mexican) pretty down with the brothers.

Downtown during the weekend is usually where its at, check out Bodi it's pretty live.

If you feeling froggy the Latin clubs go hard too, but some Mexican nikkas might Try you.

Race wise I ain't seen a problem the seven years I been down here... I seen plenty of white girls choosing brothas here. As far as nightlife, I can't really speak on it as a married nikka. But the times that I have gone out, looking at it from a NY perspective, had me like . I would rather drive the 8 hours back to NY and party than try to make something happen here.

I mainly came here because it was a better environment to raise my kids in, not because of it being exciting or happening or anything. If you a single dude, I'd encourage you wholeheartedly to go on down to Myrtle Beach for that weekend, or at least hit up Charlotte.

living down here ok & affordable even though we stay in south raleigh

Drive 45 minutes to Greensboro, plenty of shyt to get into, plus countless amount of hoes......
