I have, my si hatchback was slammed on coil-overs and struts. Yes you probably will scrape the parkingstop with a 2 inch drop. Depending on the car a 1 inch drop may not do much. I initially had 1.3 inch springs and ended up swapping them for coil-overs. Other cars I have came with a sport suspension so I didn't have to do anything after that, they scraped some parking stops.

Lowered my SVT Contour and my Corvette. You learn how to get around without fukking your car up ie going sideways over speedbumps, knowing where and where not to park, parking backwards so you don't worry about the barriers, etc.

Does it wear your tires down quicker ?
If the alignment is really off. Some people can get by with keeping air inflated rotating your tires often. Usually the camber is messed up and you have to get a camber kit to correct it. The wheels tend to lean inward at the top so then you have to get a kit to correct it to make it flush. Depending on your rim and tire set up you may need some negative camber or if you're going for a stanced look. Always get an alignment after lowering your car whether you get a camber correction kit or not.

Depends on if you gettin coilovers. Coilovers have adjustable height and damper. Some kits also come with the camber kit. If you gettin just lowering springs (non adjustable height) then you need to upgrade the struts to something more high performing than OEM.

Obviously afterwards get alignment n all that. Yes you may need a camber kit but sometimes you don't. Depends on what setup you trynna rock with.

I suggest coilovers for maximum customization
