TIRED TODAY ...

Have to travel to go out of way to get haircut today. There's three barbershops in walking distance, and the Dominican spot around here is not cutting it. I rather just go by Fordham for my hygiene needs. I'm Half Black/Half Puerto Rican so I need a Dominican to cut my hair. I rarely go to Section 5 tho, so I'm not sure if it's any different.

They closing Path marks all over the Bronx, and so the local supermarkets are getting really crowded, and Stop and Shop to me is the only one worth spending money at.

But the good

Bay Plaza, I'm coming to realize, is one of the best Malls in the state right now, love it. But the travel is funny, and I still haven't figured out how to cross the Bartow/Co Op City Blvd intersection without getting run over lol. The 12 select bus runs regularly and is one of the most frequent and consistent bus lines i know, but I don't get why it's always packed. It sometimes seemslike travel is hard, but it's actually easier to get to certain areas from Co Op.

I love my neighbors today.

Maintenance service is on point and FAST. Rarely see a Roach, water bug, or mouse living in Co op. Not afraid of those Skunks and Rac00ns.

So senior citizen in a wheelchair who hangs out in the Bartow Mall gave me her number, talking bout she needs a boyfriend. I was told there are mad bytches here, but i didn't know to what extent. This will be a fun winter.

Lived in Section 4 for 11 years, I went to Truman from 2001-2005. Moved up from 163rd and 3rd. I never embraced co op, growing up with kids in dire poverty then coming there where folks were often creating a struggle out of no struggle. I chilled with White Plains and South BX cats in high school, section 4 cats used to be shocked I was from there because I never chilled there.

I hated the surbaban feel, but at the price and the lack of nuisance and violence it's a good value all things considered.
