Headed on a cruise to Montego Bay in 3 weeks. Looking for good spots to hit up that show the tradition of the island. Looking to invest in the local economy itself and not the cruise ship stuff.

Also looking for some excellent seafood. Love fried shrimp and scallops but my wife eats the crab legs and fish.

Anyone have advice?

It's touristy but Dunn River Falls right outside of Ocho Rios is and gives you life. Dress down & stay non flashy if your want to hit up non touristy spots or walk though town centers and whatnot
