You asking about the cost of living in a northeast state? Lol.

but the Boston metropolitan is a high cost of living area but I’m sure Rhode Island is cheaper than Boston.

From my experience Rhode Island is more on the boring side but it’s filled with immigrants so you will find nice looking women and a few fun bars and stuff to go to.
Most Bostonians view RI the same way NYC folks view New Jersey. Cheaper homes and rent within a hr to Boston. Plus you can take the Commuter Rail right into Boston for work/entertainment.

My mom’s family is from there and I stayed there for a few years growing up.

The urban areas like Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston are pretty inexpensive but the downside is there isn’t much to do socially. I lived in a bunch of different areas of Providence and it wasn’t bad but it was too much of a contrast from NY for me so I left

The state has great beaches further out into the more rural, suburban areas like North Kingston, Newport, but those towns can have a strong racist energy. I remember going to a diner in Newport as a kid and everyone stopped and turned around when I walked in like it was a movie.

The females are the #1 best thing about RI. Most of the Cape Verdean population in this country is in RI, MA and CT. There’s mad CV, Latina and mixed bytches to choose from and they’re thirsty to meet out of town nikkas because their city is so small

I haven’t lived there as an adult but it doesn’t seem like there’s too many job opportunities. My mom and sister both left and work at places in other states now and a lot of the kids I knew when I was younger either left or seem to want to leave
I live in Jersey but from RI and this is facts. Providence has come a long way though. There’s a lot of bars, decent clubs/nightlife and like several ppl mentioned here mad bytches and it’s very diverse. Providence area has a lot of schools too so it gets a mix of ppl from other places too. I think the nightlife in RI is lowkey slept on and I prefer it over Boston nightlife.

Rhode Island is a ferry ride away from Block Island. Dope little getaway spot. If you go there just after the off season and are lucky enough to get good weather then it's a great bargain. I went there once in early Sept. and had a blast. It wasn't too crowded and still warm enough to swim in the ocean. The absolute bluest ocean water I have ever seen in the north eastern US and it's not even close.

No cars on the Island either. :banderas:

I might be moving there real soon OP

Pretty lit actually, a lot more lit than Boston apparently cost of living is slightly 20% cheaper than Boston as well

Realistically speaking, outside of Providence and Pawtucket not much to the state as a whole
