Are these versions shytting on the regular Blu-Ray version image quality wise?
:jbhmm:
As a casual, 4K is more vivid and compact. Of course they’re better than regular blu, but I don’t see the rush to waste more money. It’s not like the DVD to blu comparison where blus blew the DVD quality out of the water, imo.

I’ve got around 40 4K Blu-ray movies. I have a Dolby Atmos soundbar so for me they’re the only way to go to maximize my audio and video. Best movie I’ve seen so far in that format is Ready Player One. shyt is gorgeous.

That's what I'm asking.

I remember seeing Apocolypto on Blu-Ray when the format was new, and it was  status... was wondering if the jump is that good.

The year 3030
yeah, I started copping them over BD's once I upgraded.

Still got more BD's though...only replacing 4K flicks on movies I like and/or worth it.

Hoping BttF gets the treatment soon. Heard rumors Godfather might be getting one.

Preordered the matrix one
