When i was 10 i saw a movie called drugasaurs. This movie literally ruined my life. These mother fukkers told me that nikkas drop acid in random shyt in grocery stores to give people hellish trips just for s&g. I actually had to go to therapy for that shyt, triggered all this genetic shyt i have, bipolar, anxiety, depression, the works.

It also triggered a life long fascination with drugs and the brain, and how they interact. I always wondered what i want to do with my life besides music, but it just makes sense that i should do this.

My reason for making this thread is to get any and as much info on this area as possible. I know its "hard" but for me organic chemistry comes naturally. Biology is my bytch, i dont even gotta go there. Ive taken enough medications and done enough drug research to tell you which neurotransmitter receptors transfer which hormones and what the hormones do, how drugs interact with neurotransmitters, etc. It all just makes sense and comes together to form the beautiful work of art that is life.

You can probably tell that im actually passionate about this shyt from this post, so please if anyone can contribute please do

I'm in pharmacy school, and have a master's degree in chemistry. What do you want to know?
Edit: higher learning is a better place for this thread
idk what are you usually doing? any internship opportunities? do you find it interesting/rewarding? is it unreasonably hard? Mostly want to know just what its like. Are you constantly doing cool experiments, getting opportunities to try new things?

Yeah you should of posted in higher learning probably gonna get trolled. but are you in school right now you should be more direct also because those subjects are vast and I doubt anyone is that willing to give up random info on such a broad subject

I'm busy right now but ill reply with some advice later. What I will say right now is that it seems you want to get a PhD in pharmacology or medicinal chemistry, not a PharmD. You could get a PharmD/PhD if you didn't mind the years of training.
