I consider good food/restuarants in NY, Miami, DC, ATL, Bay Area, etc San Diego food in general is bland, because you military n1gs and cacs will eat anything.

San Diego is one of the largest cities to get stationed at... You ever been on an island with 9 bases then complain to me about a military presence
I found the "black clubs" and events just fine out there but unlike you I don't limit myself just to that shyt. And restaurants like what? A BBQ joint? A Roscoes? Some soulfood??? Is that what you was looking for? You're next door to Mexico, wtf did you expect to see there?. And I know MORE black people there than anything... and no, they are not in the military
And since you need to know, I have lived/stayed in ATL, Miami, NO, and some other small irrelevant BLACK areas.. and aside from Miami/NO, SD had the best food by far EVERYWHERE I went... Thats all we did was eat out when I was stationed there

There's a huge black population in SD, have u tried visiting south east daygo? Bayview to skyline area. I'm originally from city heights but I have been living in Seattle for a long time.

and the food is pretty damn good. yes there are black restaurants (Sister Pee Wee's, Jones Brothers, Bonnie Jeans, Island Spice....)
also authentic Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Mexican(different regions)....

I'm from San Diego born and raised moved to ATL last year and just came back like two weeks ago.. It has a lot of culture ...north park, South Park, downtown, university ace, el cajon blvd..

I can't lie it's not a black metropolis but "culture" is deeper than just black culture. Food is bland
we got every kind of food out here from Arabic to Mexican to Thai etc. Plenty of black owned BBQ spots and fish spots in the southeast but most of the black population is sadly too ignorant to establish black museums/art etc. and the music is never supported because it's mostly gang shytI'll take anybody on a tour if they wanna see black folks in my city
