Anyone here that ever did a will have a go-to resource that's legit and pretty much bulletproof? I saw some infomercial the other day where they talked about getting the whole process done in under 30 minutes, but I'm not sure how legit anything advertised on an infomercial is.

If you did one for either yourselves, or a family member, what resource do you recommend?

It would mostly be somewhere to specify what happens to remaining funds (although it's really just to double-specify it because people listed as beneficiaries should already be getting theirs regardless of a will or not), and also whether to choose a burial, or a cremation, and if choosing cremation, will there be any sort of ceremony accompanying it.

If you got the things to protect hire an estate /trusts attorney to do this.
Nothing other than what was mentioned in the original post, which is money in a traditional savings account, money in a HYSA, and just the question of what happenes with a person's remains after their death (burial, cremation, etc.). No physical property is owned.

It's not about wanting to cheap out by not getting an attorney involved, but it's that I think that in 2023 it may not be needed (similar to how in modern times we can open up Roth IRAs and trade stocks via apps more effortlessly than ever before).

If any of you have done it, or have links to useful YouTube videos about it, please provide that intel. Thanks.
